To buy a Tasting Box, is it necessary to be registered? How can I register?

No. To buy a Tasting Box, all you need to do is follow the simple instructions on our website. On the homepage just click “join originàrio” and following the instructions. You can always correct errors in the data you’ve entered, or cancel your order during the check-out process and before sending the order.

How can I register?

Registration is easy and quick:

– Click on “Sign In;”

– Enter your data;

– Click on “Sign In” and you’ll receive an email confirmation of your registration.

What is included in the Tasting Box?

The “Tasting Box” contains an assortment of high quality-products selected with care to give you an exciting journey through Italian flavours. Based on what you receive in the box, a menu is included which gives serving suggestions and ideas for additional ingredients. The box also contains a guide which tells the unique stories of the products and who produced them. The box will generally contain ten products such as wine, cheese, salami, compotes and marmalades, honey, oil, sauces, spices and other special condiments – a lovely selection for anyone passionate about good food!

How do you select the products?

The companies and producers chosen by originàrio follow the principle of “Buono e Ben Fatto” – meaning “Good and Well Made” – and follow sustainable practices in their production processes. originàrio selects one-of-a-kind producers from across Italy who craft their food and drink with love and passion. They are producers who, instead of asking, “How can I produce as much as possible?” ask, “How can I produce the best possible?”

Where do the products come from?

The products come from companies and producers spread out over Italy, from the northern Aurina Valley in Alto Adige to the southern Iblean hills that descend towards the sea in Sicily. The products that originàrio chooses tell the stories of these one-of-a-kind producers who cultivate the fruits of their land with love and passion. They are producers who, instead of asking, “How can I produce as much as possible?” ask, “How can I produce the best possible?”

How are your products packed?

Each product is wrapped and packed individually with care. Because some fresh products are highly perishable, for example mozzarella and Stracchino cheese, we only use products that can withstand transportation time, such as aged cheese. Perishable products are vacuum-packed.

Is it possible to buy more than one Tasting Box to send to different addresses? Can I include a personalized message?

If you are interested in giving a Tasting Box as a gift or buying several for different locations, please contact the originàrio team directly at info@originar.io It is possible to add a personalized message for boxes bought as gifts.

 

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

How are the Tasting Boxes shipped and delivered?

The Tasting Boxes are delivered by international freight (Express Shipping).

Is it possible to track the order once shipped?

Yes. Once ordered, you will receive an email with confirmation of the order and shipping information, including a link where you may track the order.

When will I receive my Tasting Box?

The Box is delivered Express in 24-48 hours (depending on destinations) from the order during working days and is performed by international courier.  The Box is shipped from Monday to Thursday (Wednesday for remote destinations) and is delivered at the address provided by the Client at the time of the submission of the Order. No Tasting Boxes deliveries to PO boxes shall be carried out.

How much does shipping and handling cost?

In Italy, the cost of shipping and handling is included in the price of the Tasting Box. For international shipping we apply a premium. Upon selecting the country to which your order will be shipped, the price of shipping and handling is added. For shipping to countries outside of Europe and to learn about customs restrictions, please contact the originàrio team directly at info@originar.io

What should I do if I’m missing a product in my Tasting Box, or something is damaged?

If the Box is externally damaged, sign conditionally. If one or more products are damaged or missing, contact the originàrio team immediately at info@originar.io

I ordered a box but made a mistake in the delivery address. What should I do?

Can I cancel an order after I’ve made it?

If your order has not yet been processed, we can cancel it once you send an email to info@originar.io

Is it possible to deliver a parcel outside of Italy?

Yes, we ship to European countries. For countries outside the European Union, please contact the originàrio team at info@originar.io

I don’t want to buy the entire Tasting Box. Can I purchase a single product?

For the moment, we only offer the Tasting Box in its entirety. If you’re interested in purchasing single products, however, contact us at info@originar.io to see if it’s possible with that product.

 

PAYMENT

What are the payment options?

You can use your credit card through PayPal. When clicking with PayPal at checkout, you  will be directed to the PayPal site to ‘Log In’ and review the amount shown before clicking payment button. If the you do not have a PayPal account, you can checkout as a guest and pay by credit card. This doesn’t require to have a PayPal account.

Is my personal information and data secure?

Yes: the data of your credit card is not – in any way – stored by originàrio but treated externally by Braintree and PayPal with the highest standard of protection.

Can I use a bank transfer?

For the moment, a bank transfer is possible only for multiple purchases.

Can I pay by cash on delivery of the product?

No, it is only possible to purchase with a credit card or through PayPal.

Can I get an invoice?

RETURNS

If I’m not satisfied with my product, can I return it?

Please contact us immediately by emailing info@originar.io to help us understand why you are not satisfied.

The policy of originàrio is to give a voice to producers and processors who make excellent wine and food products, and who act according to the principles of “Buono e Ben Fatto,” “Good and Well Made.” We’re always looking for high quality products that are difficult to find, including products that are local or typical, organic, biodynamic, or are produced sustainably in full respect of humans and the environment. originàrio gives the possibility via an e-commerce platform to let consumers directly get to know these products and their makers, without the middlemen.
